4 Firm Pears, halved, peeled and cored


¼ t. cinnamon

1/8 t. nutmeg

4 Tbs. Butter, softened

4 Tbs. Dark brown sugar

Place the pear halves in a buttered pie plate or other oven capable dish.  Blend the spices and sprinkle over the pear halves.  Mix the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth.  Divide the butter mixture evenly and spoon it on top of the pears.  Bake in 350-degree oven for 25 minutes.  Serve warm with a spoonful of vanilla yogurt on top.
